Skydiving
(All year around)
Are you an adrenalin junkie? Then be a high flyer with the NCT!
Many people place completing a skydive or a parachute jump as one of the activities on life’s to-do-list. Build a proud memory and tick that box whilst raising funds to provide support and vital information to parents-to-be and new parents throughout pregnancy, childbirth and early parenthood.
Picture the scene: You are flying at 10,000 feet and sitting at the edge of the plane’s open doorway looking out over the assorted green patchwork of fields below. You lean forward and jump out. Now, you are freefalling and diving through the clouds and air at around 120mph. The canopy opens and you are enjoying the peace and tranquillity of gently floating down to earth.
You can make that dream a reality by signing up today!
We offer three types of parachute jumps:
- Tandem skydive (£385)
This is our most popular type of jump where you will get to jump from 10,000 feet, freefalling at over 120mph. It’s a Skydive because you will be freefalling through the air for several thousand feet before the parachute gets deployed. It is in tandem because you will be harnessed to a professional parachute instructor at all times throughout the descent. Your training and jump are completed in one day and your instructor will control your landing. An amazing opportunity to experience the thrill of a jump, this really is the chance of a lifetime. - Static line jump (£360)
This jump is in two parts. You will train on the Saturday and then jump on the Sunday. The jump is called a static line jump because from the moment you step into the aircraft you will be securely attached to a ‘static line’ that is designed to automatically open your parachute for you as you exit the aircraft. On the Sunday, after some refresher training, the aircraft will fly to an altitude of 3,000 feet from where you will make your jump. - Accelerated freefall (£535)
Try the ultimate skydiving experience and do an accelerated freefall. You will train for a full day and then on the Sunday you’ll get to jump from 10,000 feet with two highly experienced skydiving instructors by your side. Enjoy the tranquillity of floating under your canopy and parachuting to the ground before landing solo. This is the first level to becoming a fully qualified instructor.
